Ingredients
6 | ea. | Pullman white bread (Skin off) |
3 | oz. | Garlic, minced |
1 | qt. | Parmesan Reggiano, grated |
1 | lb. | Butter Unsalted (Plugra) |
3 | c. | Olive oil |
1 | oz. | Kosher salt |
Preparation
- Slice bread, the diced in cubes.
- Melt butter; add minced garlic and olive oil.
- Place bread into a large bowl, add parmesan cheese, salt and pepper evenly, add butter and oil mixture and toss well.
- Place croutons in a sheet tray with parchment paper.
- Cook in oven 250˚F for 20 minutes, then 300°F until golden brown and crispy.
- Cool down and transfer to a Lexan container, label and date.
