Roasted Garlic

Ingredients

15 ea. Whole garlic colossal
1 oz. Thyme sprigs
3 ea. Bay leaves
2 oz. Olive oil (Unio)
½ c. Water

Preparation

  1. Slightly cut tops of garlic heads.
  2. Place them in a roasting pan. Add on top olive oil, thyme, bay leaves and water.
  3. Cover with parchment paper and aluminum foil.
  4. Place in oven for 45 minutes at 250°F, until garlic is soft and roasted with a slightly golden color.
  5. Let it cool down and squeeze garlic out with both hands, pushing out from bottom to top.
