Ingredients
| 5 | lbs. | Yellow Onions (Julienne cut) |
| 1 | c. | Olive Oil "Unio" |
| 4 | oz. | Thyme |
| 6 | oz. | White Sugar |
| 5 | ea. | Bay leaves |
| Kosher Salt, White Pepper |
Preparation
- In a hot stainless steel pan add olive oil. Add yellow onions, salt, pepper, thyme leaves and sugar.
- Cover with parchment paper and reduce heat down to low.
- Let it caramelized for over 20 minutes until onions are translucent with lightly golden color.
