Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

7 cans Strip peeled tomato (Saporito)
2 c. Garlic cloves
2 qt. Olive oil (Unio)
1 lb. Basil leaves
5 tbsp. White sugar

Preparation

  1. Place oil and garlic in a pot over medium–high heat and cook until garlic is golden in color.
  2. Blend Tomatoes and add it to the garlic oil and let it cook for 8 minutes constantly stirring.
  3. Add torn basil leaves, salt, pepper, sugar and continue to cook on low heat for 30 minutes until slightly thickened.
